October 14, 1882: “Montgomeryville, or Abraham's Mill, is a thriving town. There is one saloon, one store, two hotels, thirty or thirty-five dwelling houses, and the large steam mill of Abraham, Willis & Co. The difficulty with the loggers is at an end and the logs are coming in and work is progressing rapidly at the mill.” (The Douglas Independent)
January 29, 1887: "Sol. Abraham's has (100,000,000 ?) feet of logs at his mill at Glendale, and intends to start the mill going soon." (The Daily Reporter)
