HOSELTON SAWMILL
Lane County - west of Crow
May 25, 1912: "Word reached Eugene today that the old Hoselton sawmill beyond the summit of the Coast mountains west of Crow was burned to the ground early Thursday morning of this week. Two hundred thousand feet of lumber was also destroyed. There are few particulars of the fire, but it is learned that it probably originated from a hot box. The fire was discovered about two o'clock in the morning and had gained such headway that it was impossible to extinguish. The plant was owned by Henry Canady, son of Dr. Canady, of this city."
