July 1920: "Cornett & Maison Lumber Co., Prineville, in June shipped its first carload of lumber to Mexico for use in building an irrigation works on a cotton ranch. The consignment was the first lumber shipment to be made over the Prineville municipal railway. This company is operating a 20,000-feet capacity mill, and plans the installation of another mill of the same capacity. There are 25,000,000 feet of western white pine available. G. M. Cornett is superintendent of operations. Others interested in the company are H. G. Maison and J. F. Steaintorf." (The Timberman)
