December 9, 1943: "Les Henry had a log roll on his right foot last Tuesday while working in the woods for the Moore Lumber company and was given treatment for the injury by Dr. A, N, Collman. He will be confined to his home for several days." (Illinois Valley News)

December 7, 1950: "Dell Feller of Grants Pass was seriously injured Saturday when a log broke loose and rolled over him. The accident occurred at approximately 8 a.m.
