June 4, 1932: "The first load of lumber for the completion of Klamath Temple, located on Oak street near Eighth and opposite the post office, was hauled the first of June, according to Rev. Fred Hornshuh, pastor.
Arnett Brothers who operate a sawmill at Swan Lake, are furnishing the first 30,000 feet of lumber as a donation to the church. Other mills are also donating, and the lumber and labor for the entire structure will be given free." (The Evening Herald)
