January 1918: "The Pine Box Co., of which I. A. Robie is the chief factotum and owner, cut up about 3,500,000 feet of lumber into shook last year. The factory is capable of cutting up about 45,000 feet daily and is ready for next year's business. Two Mershon resaws are placed tandem and a single crew will resaw 30,000 feet. Mr. Robie is a firm believer in trade acceptances. He has used them for several years and finds the system most satisfactory. He may decide ro take a short trip to Honolulu in January. Mr. Robie is an old standby in the box business and his friends are legion. Wm. Fyfield is the factory superintendent." (The Timberman, Vol. 19)
