August 26, 1913: "The sawmill at Hoskins, which was purchased by the Cobb & Mitchell interests to saw out railway timbers, started to work last Thursday at sawing ties and bridge timbers for the road, and as fast as the grading is done these will be distributed along the right of way. Machinery for the work is now on the ground." (Albany Democrat)
