December 4, 1951: "The Iverson Lumber company Inc., Roseburg, has purchased 1,445,000 board feet of timber from the bureau of land management for the appraised price of $32, 217.75.
District Forester James W. Watts pointed out that this is a tract which was included in the regular August sale but received no bids. Bureau of land management policies permit parcels receiving no bids to be held open 90 days from the original sale date.
