KENWOOD LUMBER COMPANY
Portland
June 21, 1930: "Damage between $40,000 and $50,000 resulted today from a fire that swept the Kenwood Lumber company outside the city limits.
J. D. Faulkner was struck over the right eye by a falling timber and was treated at Emergency hospital.
Lives of several firemen were endangered by high voltage wires. Origin of the blaze has not been determined. The buildings were of frame construction and offered little opposition to the wind-driven flames." (The Klamath News)
