R. R. HUMPHREY SAWMILL
9 miles East of Lebanon
July 9, 1886: "The sawmill of R. R. Humphrey, about nine miles east of here (Lebanon), with all the machinery, was destroyed by fire last night about 11 o'clock. The mill and machinery was valued at $6,000. About 50,000 feet of lumber was burned. There was an insurance of $3,000 on mill and machinery. The fire is supposed to be the work of an incendiary."
