September 8, 1905: "Articles incorporating the Hadley Lumber company have been filed in the county clerk's office, the capital stock of the company being placed at $100,000, divided into 1,000 shares at the par value of $100 each. The incorporators are: C. B. Hadley and P. B. Vantress, and the place of business will be Hobsonville, in this county. The new company will take possession of the Truckee Lumber company's sawmill on Tillamook bay September 1, and will operate that mill and the on Wilson river." (The Stayton Mail)
