March 15, 1924: "Siuslaw Mill Co. has closed its Eugene office and will handle all business, including selling, at the mill at Beck, Ore. (Tiernan postoffice) A. W. Morris, of the Morris Lumber Co., of Eugene, is no longer associated with the company." (American Lumberman)
October 1924: "Siuslaw Mill Co., Tiernan, is cutting 50,000 feet daily under the supervision of J. B. Kelly. S. W. Morrison is president and general manager. J. J. Daeje yard foreman, M. C. Colson car tallyman, C. C. Leet millwright, R. P. Thompson mill foreman, Roscoe Gardner chief engineer and C. W. McGee head planerman. The mill is located on Siuslaw River, 65 miles west of Eugene." December 1924: "S. W. Morrison, of Salt Lake City, visited Portland and other Coast cities during December. The Siuslaw Mill Co., Tiernan, Ore., in which Mr. Morrison is interested, is not operating." (The Timberman, Vol. 26)
January 23, 1925: "Suit to recover $1000 alleged due for protection of the employes of the Siuslaw Mill company at Tiernan has been filed against the concern by the Zurich General Accident and Liability Insurance company. F. C. McDougal, Portland attorney, represents the plaintiff. The suit is for insurance during the period from July to November last year." (The Eugene Guard)
August 27, 1925: "A. B. Daly Co. is plaintiff in a suit filed in circuit court against the Siuslaw Mill company, seeking a judgment in the sum of $433.30, with 6 per cent interest from February 11, 1925. Harris, Smith and Bryson are attorneys for the plaintiff.--Eugene Register." (The World)
