May 7, 1908: "Work is progressing rapidly on the new planing mill of the M. J. Cameron & Son, at the foot of Ferry street. It will be in operation in three weeks. In addition to the planing apparatus, the mill will be equipped with woodworking machinery." (The Estacada News)
