November 9, 1918: "Sale of twenty three million feet of timber in the Spring Creek Unit of the Klamath Indian Reservation to the Williamson River Logging Company, a subsidiary branch of the Modoc Lumber Company is reported completed yesterday by J. M. Bedford, who has charge of the timber on the Klamath Reservation.
The price paid was three dollars and a half per thousand. It is reported that the purchasing concern will log in this timber belt all winter." (The Evening Herald)

September 1922: "Williamson River Logging Co., Klamath Falls, Ore., filed suit in the Circuit Court against the Southern Pacific, seeking a permanent injunction to prevent the railroad company from interfering with any part of the plaintiff's right-of-way over its lands. The injunction was granted." (The Timberman)
June 17, 1925: "Court Filings: Williamson River Logging Co. to Modoc Pine company. $100 consideration. Logging railway of Williamson River Logging Co., including rights of way, etc. etc. All other property, real, personal and/or mixed of said Williamson River Logging Co." (The Klamath News)
