LOVENESS LUMBER COMPANY
Bly
February 26, 1965: "The year of 1964 saw many changes and improvements in Bly business and industry.
During the summer, the A.H. and E.H. Loveness Lumber Company constructed a pumice-brick dry kiln. The building, constructed entirely by Loveness employes, houses three dry kilns which are heated individually by more than a mile and a half of hot water pipes.
The kilns are capable of handling a capacity load of 150,000 board feet of lumber.
Now under construction by the Loveness Lumber Company are two, two-unit duplexes to be used as housing for mill employes. The duplexes should be ready for occupancy soon." (Herald and News)
