February 15, 1906: "Sometime since D. F. Warner sold 1,500,000 feet of lumber-feet of standing timber on his place to R. A. Stratton and T. Yocum & Sons who will put in a mill and convert the timber into lumber." (The Estacada News)
February 15, 1906: "T. Yocum & sons have been receiving and hauling out the machinery for their new sawmill which is to be on their place east of Estacada. New machinery is being put in throughout. The mill will be equipped to turn out all classes of finished lumber. It is calculated the plant will have a daily capacity of 15,000 feet." (The Estacada News)
