October 28, 1909: "J. O. Metzker, the freighter, arrived from Klamath Falls Monday night with the Christie saw mill outfit, weighing 30,000 pounds. The outfit was taken to Camas Prairie, Tuesday, where the mill is located. It comprises a complete outfit for both a saw and planing mill.
