July 15, 1941: "Anderson Brothers Lumber company is shipping about 150,000 feet out of Lakeview each day, with operations proceeding at good speed in the woods. Running two shifts, Anderson's have eight trucks and three diesels operation in the timber with about 85 men employed in both operations." (The Evening Herald)
March 2, 1942: "Anderson Brothers Lumber company started operations on February 17 with 70 men. When logging gets underway, this will be increased to about 100, according to Archie Anderson. The company expects to get in full swing about the first of April and production plans call for a cut of 25,000,000 feet." (The Evening Herald)
