April 28, 1899: "E. T. Bogart, of Larwood was in Scio Friday last, and paid this office a substantial call. Mr. Bogart has about completed arrangements for operating his mill above Larwood, known as the Pitchford mill, and will soon be turning out a superior quality of lumber. Mr. B. is a practical sawmill man and thoroughly understands every detail connected with the mill work."
