March 1, 1873: "F. E. Robinson & Bros. sawmill resumed operations last Tuesday. A large raft of logs was floated down from Mary's river on Wednesday, and this mill is now prepared to fill all orders that may offer." (Benton Democrat)
April 26, 1873: "All persons indebted to the undersigned Proprietors of the Corvallis Sawmill, either by note or book account, prior to the 1st of March, 1873, will please come and settle on or before the first day of June, 1873, and save costs, as no longer indulgence can be given. F. E. Robinson & Bro." (The Benton Democrat)
July 25, 1874: "Monday last, Mr. W. P. Morse, who works in Robinson & Bro's. sawmill, at Corvallis, had a portion of his right thumb taken off by a buzz saw, while sawing slabs." (Weekly Oregon Statesman)
