OREGON BOX & MANUFACTURING CO.
Bay City
August 17, 1915: "After a week of tuning up the old Curtis mill made new by the Oregon Box and Manufacturing Co. is now running like a clock and the first car load of box lumber is nearly ready to be shipped. Of course many difficulties have been met and surmounted, and the first week resulted in little real cutting, but now that the trial week has been past everything is working perfectly.
A slight accident was met on Monday when an important piece of machinery was broken, and the mill will be tied up for a week or so, as a result, but the trial run was sufficient to assure that everything will be running well when the damage is repaired." (Tillamook Herald)
