June 25, 1936: "The case of Glenn S. Cozine vs. Paul Lardon and Charles Hodge, concerning a contract connected with logging operations, was concluded after a two day hearing when the plaintiff's attorney moved for a voluntary non-suit, which the court granted. The motion came after the defense attorney had waived argument, following the opening argument." (Albany Democrat-Herald)
January 22, 1937: "Lardon & Hodge Lumber company and Willis Kelly yesterday applied to the county court for a permit to haul logs over county roads from Greens bridge to Jefferson. No action was taken by the court." (Statesman Journal)
