UPPER SCOTTS VALLEY SAWMILL CO.
Scotts Valley
November 10, 1911: “While employed in a saw mill at the upper end of Scotts Valley, Chas. Hanna had the misfortune to get his left wrist against the edger and was quite painfully injured. Dr. Mortensen was called and soon made the injured man as comfortable as circumstances would permit, but it will be some time before Chas. will be able to do manual labor, as the wound received is a bad one and will necessarily require some time for healing.” (The Yoncalla Times)
