CRABTREE LUMBER COMPANY
Crabtree
January 4, 1917: "D. W. Boucher was instantly killed on the C. F. Sargent place, southeast of Scio on Thursday of last week.
He and two sons were cutting logs for the Crabtree Lumber Co. A limb from a falling tree, which had become detached, struck him on the head with a fatal result. At first it was thought Boucher was only stunned, but when Dr. Prill of this city arrived, he found the unfortunate man was dead." (The Scio Tribune)
