MYRTLE POINT MILL COMPANY
Myrtle Point
March 2, 1906: "Clem Griffin, had his right leg broken while working in the Myrtle Point Mill Co's Mill, Friday. He was putting a log onto the carriage when it rolled back, striking him, with the result mentioned." (Myrtle Point Enterprise)
May 11, 1906: "The Myrtle Point mill has made a very good showing since the first of the year, cutting, with a late order, about 3,000,000 of lumber for shipment. This is not a large mill, but it means about capacity for the local plant, and on some orders they have made a day and night run. The Wawona, now due at Marshfield, will load 600,000 feet of yard stock for San Pedro and the mill is now turning out that shipment." (Myrtle Point Enterprise)
