December 4, 1915: "J. E. Roberts of this place, owner of a small saw mill which has been located in the neighborhood of Coburg for a number of years, has had the mill dismantled and shipped to Oakridge. The machinery was received here this week and is being hauled down to the Roy Flock homestead, about a mile below town, where it will be set up for operation.
Mr. Flock has about one hundred thousand feet of merchantable timber on his place and it will be sawed into lumber for the local demand and it is also likely that the mill will be used in sawing railroad ties. When the timber on the Flock place is sawed out the mill will be moved to another tract in the neighborhood." (Morning Register)
